Despite currently being the nation’s sweetheart, Girls Aloud and X Factor star, Cheryl Cole, only managed fourth place in the skincare stakes, with just 14% of woman wanting to be blessed with a complexion like hers.
The survey, commissioned by natural skincare company Saponaqua to launch its website’s e-commerce facility, revealed which celebrity’s skin women most admire, and which male celebrity they would like to receive a full body massage from.
Despite being notoriously unlucky in love, American A-lister Jennifer Aniston topped the poll with 19% of the votes, closely followed by Brit actress Kate Winslet, with third place going to not-so desperate housewife Eva Longoria.
Katie Price’s popularity is certainly down at the moment - she received 0% of the votes.
Appearing on the big screen as James Bond has paid off for Daniel Craig – a staggering 36% of women would choose him to give them a full body massage. American actors George Clooney and Will Smith placed second and third respectively.
British funny men, Lenny Henry and James Cordon, might be able to make women laugh, but no one wanted to have a massage from them - they both jointly polled last with 0% of the votes.
A spokesman for the survey by Saponaqua said: “Younger stars such as Cheryl Cole and Holly Willoughby did well in the poll, but it was the slightly older, more established celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Kate Winslet that topped the poll. Every woman knows how important it is to look after your skin and these celebrities are great examples of people that look after both their skin and body properly. “
