Cold Process Soap for Sensitive Skin
Most mass produced soaps, no matter how mild, are manufactured quickly and without key ingredients, like glycerin. Naturally formed glycerides are removed from soaps because they clog the machinery used to produce the product.
Saponaqua Natural Therapy Bars are cold batch, hand processed (which allows Saponaqua to retain all those moisture rich glycerides) and then cured for 6 weeks to reduce pH levels and to allow the soap to naturally harden.
Our chemical free, all natural soap contains: olive oil to moisturise and cleanse your skin; coconut oil, which produces a rich, aromatic lather; castor oil, which is a natural anti-inflammatory and is known to help heal wounds and cuts; beeswax, which locks in moisture; turmeric, which has natural antibiotic and antiseptic properties; sodium lye, which converts oils to soap; rain water, which is lime and chloride free, and is a natural solvent for lye; and Zander humate extract, which cleanses by drawing impurities out, while lipids hydrate the subcutaneous layer of the skin.
